A lot of trends come from fashion, so I always find it important to look for trends and inspiration in textile-focused decor for the home. A lot of the same patterns and textures trickle down, so it’s essential to pay attention to what is emerging. Current trends are still focused on a lot of the same materials we saw last year like boucle and velvet, but the shift seems to be in texture. Visible and tactile textures are everything right now, giving products a unique touch-and-feel experience. Tufted textiles are definitely one of my favorite translations of this trend. It’s so fun to finally see some bold colors finally appearing again after so many years of neutrals and grays.
